For the health and wellbeing of our customers and employees, we are doing what we can to reduce public touch points at our dealership. As a result we are currently not offering some usual amenities such as complementary water bottles, coffee or shuttle service. We are also continuing to take additional measures to maintain a healthy environment. Please see our note from the General Manager below for more information.

Updated Department Hours

In light of the Local Emergency Directive issued earlier today, Hoy Family Auto will remain open with revised hours. 

Categorized as an essential business under SECTION 6 g. vi., “…Businesses Needed for Transportation - … Automobile dealerships for the sale of either new or used cars, auto-repair, and other related facilities -”,  it has been strongly encouraged that we stay open for the benefit and protection of our customers and staff. As a result, our hours for each department will be revised to the following, effective tomorrow, March 25th:

Service and Parts: 7:30 - 6:00 Mon - Sat | 7:30 - 1:30 Sun

Sales:  9:00 - 8:00 Mon - Sat | 9:00 - 6:00 Sun

Body shop: 7:30 - 6:00 Mon - Fri | Closed Sat & Sun

Our Response to COVID-19

As a family-owned and operated business, there is nothing more important to us than the health of our customers, employees and community. As a result, we are continuing to monitor the impact of the coronavirus and taking the following necessary steps to maintain a healthy environment:

  • Additional sanitizing wipes have been added to key areas around the dealership.

  • Employees are being encouraged to wash their hands on a regular basis and before and after every test drive, for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water.

  • Key areas of the vehicle - such as the steering wheel, seats, and dashboards - are being cleaned and sanitized before and after every test drive.

  • Key areas of the dealership - such as employee workstations and customer service areas - are being cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis by a professional cleaning crew.

  • Employees who are experiencing flu-like symptoms, feeling ill or who have possibly come in close contact of an infected person are being asked to remain at home.

  • Sales consultants will be available, upon request, to show cars or schedule pick ups and drop offs at your private residence.

  • All unvaccinated employees must wear masks, under the city of El Paso's current mask mandate we are asking all employees to wear masks in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission, face coverings/masks are available upon request, we suggest that customers wear masks especially if unvaccinated, we have installed air purification systems in all showrooms.
